Are you finished with the commentary or will you continue to speak out and post comments about the impending council re-organization? The absurdity of Carlisle, the new, hostile member of the group demanding that he be Mayor Pro-Tem as the highest vote getter (a tradition only when there is an argument between councilmembers vying for the appointment) is something to watch on Monday the 26th when the re-organization happens. I love it. He thinks going to a parade and funeral qualifies him to represent the city at functions as the dour face of Merced. Or his petty attitude and disdain for fellow councilmembers would lead him to conduct a council meeting with civility? Or Councilman Sanders who wants to run for Supervisor and wants the higher profile as he doesn’t bother to attend events and wants a boost for his campaign without earning it. You need to stay active. The fun has only begun.
